Terms of Use

What this site is

The Room Ledger is an independent reference published for reading. It describes hotels and resorts as buildings and as places to stay. Using the site means accepting the terms set out on this page.

No connection with the hotels

This site is not owned by, agent for, or affiliated with any hotel, resort, chain or operator named in it. No entry has been commissioned, reviewed or approved by the house it describes.

Trade marks

Hotel and resort names are used descriptively to identify the places written about. All names, marks and logos remain the property of their owners, and no endorsement is claimed or implied.

External links

Where the site links elsewhere, it does so for reference. It has no control over other sites and takes no responsibility for their content, their practices or their availability.

No warranty of accuracy

Entries are written from open sources and may be incomplete or out of date. Seasons, ownership, services and access all change. Nothing here is a promise about availability, weather, conditions or experience, and the site accepts no liability for decisions taken on the strength of it.
